She posts a cosplay pic to Twitter and the trolls come out. The star of the show steps in and asks her on a date. They both get much more than they bargained for from one date. It is a wonderfully written, empowering love story. A fat girl in fiction must-read.

Lauren Clegg is used to giving people what they need, so when her jerk of a cousin asks her to be a minder for a misbehaving movie star, she can’t seem to find the word no. Which actually turns out pretty good in her favor, both she and the star will find love and a little bit more inner power than they thought they had. If you have ever struggled with saying no or accepting the bad behavior of others, this book is for you. It is a hug and the hope you need.

Dani Brown is a workaholic PhD candidate and a bisexual witch with pink hair. Zaf is the ex-pro rugby player campus security guard with a penchant for romance novels. When the two are caught in a vulnerable situation during a fire drill, they decide to use the viral moment (#DrRugbae) to drum up support for Zaf’s youth rugby program and engage in a fake dating relationship.  Those romance readers among us know where all fake dating relationships end, and we love it. Hibbert’s writing is so sharp and clever it is a joy to read.

Sienna Diaz is a fat Latina movie star lost on a country road on the way to set, she is rescued by a tall drink of water with a southern drawl. This is the second book in the Winston Brothers series. It follows Jethro Winston, a reformed bad boy trying to take care of his family and working as a park ranger. When he rescues Sienna, sparks fly, but he is a perfect gentleman. They seem to keep running into each other, one thing leads to another, and it’s a romance novel.

Freya is a plus-sized seamstress with very little experience in the bedroom. Mac, a professional soccer player, easy on the eyes and good with the ladies is her best friend. Mac offers to help her with her confidence by helping her in the bedroom. We all know that trope, and let’s be honest, we all love it. Watching Mac and Freya bicker and maybe fall in love a little is a good time, definitely worth a read.

Tess is a type-A, tightly wound assistant principal who is about to turn 40. Her relaxing resort vacation-turned-working-trip is flipped on its head when she meets Lucas, resort tennis instructor, and former tennis pro. Their meet-cute involves a wave and a bikini halter top that refuses to stay tied. Possibly one of my most favorite meet-cutes ever.

When Cherry Nieta arrived at work on a seemingly normal day, she didn’t expect she’d be spying on the handsome man touring the school. She gets even more than she expected when he turns out to be a prince. So it’s a whirlwind of events and emotions when they are caught by the paparazzi in a compromising situation and enter into a fake engagement. This book brings fake dating, enemies to lovers, and all the spice. Talia Hibbert really turned up the spice a few notches for this book.
